Skills

I bring a blend of traditional design craft and modern efficiency to my work. Having built my skills before AI tools were widely available, I understand the value of original thought, careful craft, and creative problem-solving. I now leverage AI to make processes faster and more efficient, combining the best of both worlds to deliver smarter, high-quality outcomes.

I have extensive experience across Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects, XD), Figma, Cinema 4D, WordPress, and Canva. I’m also proficient with Frontify, Veed, and Brand24, using these tools to manage brand consistency, campaign performance, and creative workflows at scale.

Outside of design, I’m a PADI Divemaster, Zumba Fitness Instructor, Mental Health First Aider, and Emergency First Responder. I bring the same energy, discipline, and focus from these roles into my leadership and team culture.

Experience

Head of Design - ComplyAdvantage.

July 2025 - Present.
I lead the design function across the business, helping shape brand and marketing strategy while making sure every piece of work is consistent, effective, and creatively strong. I work closely with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to align design with the bigger business goals, contributing to conversations that shape where the company is headed.

I led my team in creating and rolling out the company’s Frontify brand guidelines, including self-serve design tools that make it easier for teams to deliver work on-brand. We also use brand data platforms and AI to help our creative work perform as efficiently and effectively as possible. These tools and systems support the pillars of success we set out in the brand strategy, making sure every project reinforces the brand in a meaningful way.

I manage and mentor a talented team of designers, helping them grow, supporting their development, and making sure we all enjoy the process of creating great work. I also share our design and brand thinking at company conferences, town halls, and internal sessions, making sure brand is always part of the conversation and understood as central to our success.

In this role, I balance the big-picture strategy with day-to-day creative decisions, making sure the work we produce not only looks great but drives real results for the business and our audiences..

Senior Graphic Designer - ComplyAdvantage.

July 2022 - July 2025.
I led the creative direction and execution of design across the business, acting as the central authority for all visual communication. I managed and mentored a team of designers and artworkers, overseeing their workload, career development, and the delivery of high-quality work across digital and print.

I drove the company’s creative strategy, including leading the visual direction of a major rebrand, and collaborated closely with cross-functional teams to align design with business goals. I also oversaw relationships with external agencies, providing clear creative guidance to maintain consistency and excellence across outsourced work.

Transitioning from agency to in-house, I gained deeper insight into campaign performance through A/B testing and data analysis, using these insights to inform more effective creative solutions. While my role was titled Senior Digital Designer, I consistently operated at a strategic level, shaping design vision, making key decisions, and demonstrating leadership across the business. This period proved my capability to lead design at a Head of level prior to promotion.

My toolkit includes Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Veed and Frontify, with projects spanning campaign creative, website design, event branding, social media assets, and wider marketing design initiatives.

Senior Graphic Designer - Catalysis Communications.

October 2019 - June 2022.
As a senior designer, I worked with major tech companies such as Intel, HPE, Autodesk, IBM, FICO, Worldline and more, specialising in crafting digital campaigns for both B2B and B2C audiences. Our strategy was to take prospects on a journey from awareness to sales and to nurture them into advocates by creating engaging campaigns that covered every step of the marketing funnel, all tied together with creative flair.

Beyond just design, in leading a team of 10 creatives I fostered an environment where innovation thrived. Whether it was brainstorming fresh ideas or fine-tuning project details, I made sure our work consistently hit the mark. Plus, I was there to support and guide our studio team, providing mentorship and opportunities for growth to help them shine. Day-to-day, I dabbled in everything from digital and web design to UI/UX and animation, tackling whatever challenges came our way with enthusiasm and skill.
